You have been warned! A friend of mine went to music college in 1978 and his digs for the first couple of months (you'll understand why) were decorated in an unusual fashion even by 70's standards everything was orange - carpet, walls, woodwork, lampshades, bed sheets, plates, cups, etc etc - the landlady dressed from head to toe in ... orange.  He couldn't stand it and had to move out it was driving him crazy.True story - so don't over do it or you too could be"tangoed"!

Woolies 99p for a set of plastic orange or pink cutlery for  people. Strong plastic too. Just used them on my camping trip and they were great for the money

thanks everyone, i will be going to asda tomorrow and then if i cant get any there off to dunelm on saturday. The plates are great harford but ive got some already i bought the tescos melamine picnic pieces you could buy seperately but no cutlery!!!! But im sure i will manage to get them now ive some more ideas of where to look. thank you so much everyone.

Also yes Joan your right i dont want tooooo much orange, ive begun to think that i should mix in some browns and creams as well. Still be 70s retro but not too much. i dont plan on using any wild retro flowery fabric i think plain colours and maybe a few stripes on the cushions.
