Last year we bought tubes of croissant dough to take camping, which you break open the tube, roll the dough into croissants and bake in the oven - lovely for breakfast !

We bought them from Tesco's last year - they were a French brand - couldn't find them anywhere this year!

Any suggestions where we might find them? or even the brand name?

Thanks

Pilsbury do these things - I think they tend to be in the freezer cabinet but not sure as I haven't used em for a while. Mind you, that dough might work well on my griddle....

Sara Lee do them.  You can find them in the pastry or baking sections usually.  If not, try the bread sections.

Going to say that Pilsbury do them - but I know which French brand you mean, although I can't remember the name, cos they did a few nice things,   I quit buying because I couldn't resist once baked.   Just one more - oopps they're all gone

Can't remember the name either, but I've seen them in the chilled section of our Asda too - near the ready to roll pastry.  The same brand also do the most yummy pain-au-chocolat!!!

Unfortunately no Asda in the Borders - will have to wait until next trip up to Edinburgh!

The Tesco by me does them too, in the fridge section by the blocks of pastry.
