Hi, I've looked at these recently and decided its a must have! my only problem is which size, have looked at some recipes and some cook direct in the pan others in separate dishes, if cooking direct would the large be just too big? and which method do you use for yorkshire puds (direct or separate pan)

any advice would be appreciated as we have spent a fortune on camp stuff this year including a cobb but i really want one of these and cant afford to buy the wrong one.

Hi Marie, the larger Remoska is more expensive but worth every penny more. We had the smaller version until it developed a fault and because it was under warranty we paid the extra and swapped to the large model. I would advise you to look at the following link  http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=28714  and also search the forums for 'remoska' as it has been discussed on numerous occassions. Lakeland also have a very good website.

How many are you cooking for?

Got the large for home use after out oven died and we aren't ready yet to replace it.

There are 5 of us and it copes very well- we often cook big amounts to do a second meal too-It will for instance do backed spuds for 5 as a main meal and the left overs will make a side disk with the next main meal.

Bought the shallow pan too and bake a large cake straight in that- bit flat and thinner than expected but fine.

Small for camping would do us if we only wanted to cook sufficient to eat in one go.

We got the larger one  (for 4 of us) with the extra internal rack which is handy for pizza's etc - I think the small one would be too small for us
