Yes to all questions. Came this morning, absolutely as described, bought gas and spare mantles today in Millets, just putting it together now. Hang on a minute and I'll let you know how it goes.....
Ok, back again, OK. 400 ml at 19.5c to boiling in 3mins dead on my Kitchen Kraft (Sungas) stove and 3.20secs on the Globey. Not bad that. The cart is 3 times the capacity of the old gt106, so performance will be better for longer.
The lamp is fine too, no prob to put together but a little 'flickery' on full blast. Not sure why, may need taking off and reconnecting to the gas. Not a detraction though.
£20 for the pair, basically, delivered. Fantastic!
Well they're still selling new models that take the 270, lamps and stoves. Mixture of propane and butane, so good'n'hot. I just bought 8 for £20 in Millets. that'll keep me going for a while. They still sell the old larger pierceable ones, but I don't think that they currently sell a stove or lamp anymore that uses them.
Hi dska, looked at the site, (very nice products) but could not find GT106 on there. Are they easily available in Norway? I would think that the postage would be very high and more than the cost of a replacement stove here in the UK. Not sure that gas can be posted either. Very interested though if we can find a way of getting them over here.
Damnation, etc. Ah well, that answers the question I had - where do I find cartridges fort the globetrotter I've unearthed for the first time in years and wanted to use this weekend. Looks like I need a new stove then - and fast.
