Not really a camping piece of kit but I thought I would ask!
Just bought one of these and it works great, really easy to download etc. However it doesn't seem to like switching on - you are supposed to press the on button until the screen lights up - sometimes this takes loads of attempts before the thing switches on! I have tried holding the button down for long and short periods of time but not really successful
I find some of these "on" buttons a bit sensitive. On my fuji camera for instance. The instructions say "press button for 1 second" However, pressing for one second flashes to on, then almost imidiately, turns it off again. I suspect that the time is more like 40 seconds. ie. 35 sec = not long enough, 40 secs = just right, and 45 secs or more turns it off again!
hi there, i have an mp3 too but its a creative zen nomad. however, i have to hold the side button in for at least 15 seconds or mine too goes off. actually it's a bit like my mobile phone, will do hundreds of things but all i bother with is the on/off switch and the volume.
