We have an onboard water tank, when we fill the tank we always have an airlock and end up having to suck the water through the taps. What are we doing wrong as surely the pump should pump through with no problem???
New to all this after having a tent for years but lost it in high winds year last July, decided to go for the softer option.
Hi tashi, my outfit has twin onboard tanks, with a vent/overflow pipe which lets me know when full during filling,if yours has a vent , it could be blocked, so try blowing back down it to see if its clear, (if you have one that is), the tank will need to draw in air from somewhere.
try opening the bath room taps first. you might find these are the nearest to the pump?plus the hot water takes longer cos its has to fill the hot water heater first.
Tashi been away in the 'van still having problems with the water - pump we think is external and bathroom taps are furthest away from the tank. Am going to go through manual today to see if I can find out anything about the pump etc. If OH is with me he draws water through the kitchen tap by sucking it through, but little me is not tall enough to do so!!! Spent one weekend having to tip water into things from the aquaroll LOL
