Can anybody advise me where I can get a roof box and bars at a sensible price for my Honda Accord Coupe

Everybody seems to want £200 just for the bars alone which I don't accept is reasonable

You don't say what year your car is!

Assuming it's a 2001 model... the complete set of bars, adapters and locks can be bought for £160.00 from www.roofracks.co.uk

Or www.car-roofracks.co.uk is showing the bars and fittings for £140.00. (Locks extra)

Boxes vary from place to place, the above two sites have them, or just do a search on google.

Have a search through ebay, there's bound to be something suitable!

Look in your local free ads or on here.

  We have a set of Genuine Audi A4 Roof bars that we bought on e bay for a fraction of the new price, and are like new, but had to sell the car as bought a bigger van than we intended,  so there must be other people who have done the same.  Usually they are in good condition as people may only use them once or twice a year.  We also bought our roof box on e bay for £15 (luckily the seller only lived a few miles away so was able to pick it up)
