Hi Just swopped by 1998 V70 (Classic) for a update version 2002 V70. Now I need a towbar to tow my Swift Fairway. I am thinking of a demountable one!! Anyone had any good or bad experiencies or would recommend a supplier or alternative. The van has an Alko stabilzer. I am keen not to have the  sticky out tow bar as it looked awful on the last car.

We have a demountable one on our 940, fitted by our Volvo dealer. Works well, no problems and no bruised shins!!

Have you tried towsure as they are selling demountables on sale and they give all the instructions as well, Plus any technical advise you need if you ring them.

Bought mine at the Earls Court Show With a 10% Discount should say my care is a Volvo 440 GTI. Have found towsure very helpful with all questions that i asked them.
