I bought a older type without realising. It had an aluminium grill which has now been replaced with a non stick ( they are the same size ). It has an aluminium dome (gold coloured ). The inside is not removeable, but just wash it on its side, its not a problem. The insulation is good. I think its brilliant, go for it. I also bought a roasting rack for it, the meat joints are cooked to perfection and it does brilliant pizzas. Leg of lamb stuffed with garlic cloves, yummy!!
You can take our stainless steel mini barbecue anywhere - boat, beach or even balcony! Add the dome lid and it's a roaster, smoker or oven. Just a few charcoal briquettes will cook for up to three hours. The outer surface of the base stays cool so you can cook on any surface and it's safer if you need to move it. Diameter 32cm. Height 28cm.
It sounds like the base just sits on the ground at only 28 cm high it musn't come with legs or a stand!!

That's right. You just stand it on a table if you want it up higher.
