Not sure about Anglesey, but my Mum lives in Colwyn Bay (not far away) and she has to have a special aerial to receive terestial TV as the reception is so bad.
Anglesey is 13 miles from your local transmitter, your postcode will determine the exact distance. Hills and tall buildings will effect reception. The higher the aerial, the better. Which also needs to be high gain.

Don't scrimp on cable either. DIY off the reel white cable is no good. It has to be digital cable, preferably CT100 quality.
