Can anyone recommend a bike carrier suitable for about 2-4 bikes to be fitted on to a detachable swan neck towbar.

Thanks

Hi SonjaH, we've got the Thule (plus the extra "widget" for carrying 4 - but not used this yet as the nippers are small - probably will this year tho.).

If you want to see a piccie, click here then click on the thumbnail picture.  Other thing we found out is that a tagalong will fit - if you turn it upside down and rest on it's handlebars/wheel.

Might be wrong but I thought detachable and / or swanneck balls were unsuitable for bike racks?

If you are buying a maxxraxx it is probably worth ordering through the roofbox co. as they sell it cheaper than maxxraxx do!

No problem getting 4 bikes on it, even though some have irregular crossbars.
