I was talking to the owner of a campingshop today about the Coleman Comfort single airbeds.
He only stocks the doubles now as last year he had 25 singles returned, all of which leaked or burst on first use !
When the rep examined them they were all consigned to the skip.
His advice is to only go for the rubberised cotton ones as they are less liable to leak or burst.

Blimey -25 is a lot of faulty air beds!
I have had other "flocked" airbeds that have seemed to develop leaks sooner than the red/blue rubberised ones, but our Coleman Comfort double has been ok so far.....touch wood!

sounds like a retailer with sour grapes to me.......
25 burst airbeds sounds very unlikely to me......ask the forum for their views on Coleman beds!

I have six of them (it's a long story) as well as a double.
The singles have been used for camping and kids sleepovers without a hint of a problem. I love them - very comfortable, great valves and my opinion is that they are well made and unlikely to leak.
My opinion - he's talking cra.........rubbish

I have a double coleman and it is sound! The rubber ones are cheap and work well. Buy from a reputable store and return if faulty, that's the best advice I have.

Sounds like it may have been just a faulty batch. Maybe the compound used for that particular batch was inferior. ------------- Jean
