Just bought an awning and want to get a light for it. I know we have one on the side of the van, but what does everyone else use.. Lamps, flourescent tubes or gas. Your ideas please. Thanks
we have a garden umbrella lamp that we fix in the middle of the awning for a main light but i also fix up some of the rope light that i fix up around the windbreaks its much more of an ambient lighting in the evening when there are a few of us chatting and drinking...ooo dont i sound posh.... ambient...haa haa haa
You can buy 12V/240V tubes which clip onto the roof pole of your awning from virtually any dealer. They're much brighter than filament lamps, and less bulky.These are approximately £10.
