Our trusty fold away picnic table got trashed last year in high winds. Sad I know but I think we can live without it if we get a suitable replacement table (if was a bit bulky after all and we only have a small car). We have our camping chairs and a small table already but what we really need is something where we can prepare food, big enough for the Cobb and maybe has storage underneath. Plus needs to be pretty stable. I've seen this
I liked the look of that table in Argos (not that we need a new one!) but thought it was expensive. It depends how sturdy it is and it does say "The tabletop is large enough to hold the largest camping stove whilst still allowing space for preparation"
We go this table free with our sunncamp cooker from Makro a couple of years ago. It is very sturdy and big enough for the cooker and prep area. It is quite heavy. The legs fold up into the table top for carrying. Don't know if I would have bought it if it had not come free, but am glad to have it and use it every time we go camping.
Well the table we already have can replace the picnic table if we use it with our camping chairs - we just need a large table for prepping up and putting the Cob on. That Argos one has the shelf underneath and also hanging hooks on the side. It looks just what we want but of course there is no weight or measurements.....
