Had a caravan for years - but decided to try a tent for the first time - got lights and cooking equipent but wondering which is the best thing to buy for heat?
I do like being warm, and will usually be on sites where there is a mains hook up - but occasionally sites where there is no electric - so brain is thinking gas, but don't like the idea of switching between appliances as I have a gas cooker and BBq as well.
Any Thoughts?

We have a Parabolic heater which screws directly onto a Camping Gaz bottle, plus a ceramic heater with a t-piece so that we can run that plus the cooker off one Calor bottle.
For mains hook up sites, we use a 2kw fan heater & a small halogen heater.

Try the Sunngas twin burner parabolic radiant heater - screws straight into Campingaz bottle (904 or 907 for stability - too big for the 901). 2kw - excellent heater. Approx £24 or so from most good camping shops (Towsure do them).------------- TrickyWoo

We used an Argos 2.4kw fan heater for the first time in our tent this weekend. Kept us lovely and warm. And when left on low overnight there was no condensation whatsoever.

If we aren't on EHU we take a small gas heater purchase from Argos and it does throw out alot of heat.------------- Sue
