Do your feet get cold during the night while you're camping, regardless of the fact that you have a sleeping bag & several layers around you? - Mine always do (or did). At Easter, I used my 'Duvet feet' (as I like to call them) for the first time, and it made such a difference to how warm I was in bed.
For those of you who are wondering, my so called 'Duvet feet' are like booties that are feather filled (like a duvet!), and they cost the bargain price of 99p from Home Bargains in Hull. I saw them in there again yesterday, so thought I would share this with you all.
Wishing you all many camping nights with warm tootsies...

I wear a pair of good old fashioned wool socks...they cost a bit more than 99p, but you can wear them with hiking boots as well. I like multi-functional kit!

Oh I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with hot feet. My hands are always cold though, so it can't be that I've got extra good circulation. ------------- Jean

old kilt socks are great even if they are unnattractive! but i usually take a hot water bottle as well. I find if my feet are warm then im warm.
I agree Peggie, I need to keep my feet warm to feel warm all over. I still wear long socks inside my duvet feet though! Think I must have terrible circulation! At least I've found something that now seems to do the trick though!

My OH solves the problem of icy cold feet easily enough - puts them on ME!
My hubby does that when he gets home from working nights
Been thinking about the 'cold nose scenario'. Maybe a square of micro fleece fabric draped over the face would work - you would certainly be able to breathe through it, but it may be a bit damp by morning
