OK, this is a bit odd.
I've picked up a Karrite Roof Box from my local Freecycle Group (If you've not heard of Freecycle you should try it - its allows people to give away things they no longer need without sending them to landfill)
Anyway, this Roof Box is fine except the people that gave it to me have lost the key! I want to give it to my Brother-in-law, but we really need to open it. Anyone got any good ideas?
Cheers,
Tim

Try the manufacturer. Ours is a different make, but the locks are numbered, so I assume it would be possible to get replacement keys? Might be completely wrong though...------------- All the best,

Hi
Try calling roofbox company. (Contact details are opn their site www.roofbox.co.uk).
They may be able to give you contact details for new lock/key as they sell Karrites. Noneed to say it wasn't bought from there, just let them assume this!
HTH.

Good luck! Now where can I get in touch with Freecycle? Sounds good!

what a great idea i am forever taking stuff to the tip that would be great for other more needy people to make use of i didnt know sites like this existed
we used to give furnature to local church who gave it to young families just setting up home but due to lack of funds they had to stop so im glad to find another way to help people not in a position to buy new
thanks for the link im off to empty the loft

Back on topic - Although freecycle is a good diversion - My Brother In law has ordered a replacement key from Halfords so we should be sorted.
Thanks for the suggestions
