Just spent £75 on a thermarest one and wonder how these compare?

Hi CampingGirl,
i bought one last week - it's okay but too heavy & bulky for backpacking/cycling/motorbike. def. not in thermarest's league. i reckon it's a 'get what you pay for' scenario....
wifey bought me (on the off-chance!) a single airbed & tiny 12v/240v pump from Tesco's for about £6 or £7 each. MUCH better. reckon i'll be using that on the m/bike. She also bought a couple of really big picnic mats for less than a fiver each - great as a mat in the tent as they bundle up really small.

The kids have second hand three quarter length thermarests, we have the base camp! Oldest son is now complaining that his mat isn't big enough, perhaps I should go to Lidl!------------- All the best,
