Anyone any experience of the new plastic gas bottles made by BP?

I am wondering if they wil fit into the front locker on a Compass Corona 534 [2003].

Help appreciated.  Thanks

There supposed to be 50mm fatter than a 6/7kg steel cylinder but are bringing out accessories to ensure aneat fit in the locker areas ,reading from the cc mag .tryed lifting one at weekend and they are very light should be a good buy when they get going with it.

The new 10kg gas lite cylinder which I have fitted to my van only just fits into my front locker. The problem is the height, and it is a bit of a struggle. I had to remove two of the four Plastic mouldings which screw to the floor to secure the base of the cylinder from sliding about. when the bottle was installed i simply re-screwed the mouldings back into their new positions snug to the cylinder base. (the 10kg gaslite is slightly fatter than my previous 6kg propane.)  However this bottle should last a good long time.. I understand new fitting will be made available soon.
