we didn't miss the tv at all. the kids were quite happy to go off and make friends, i had a book and hubby listened to the radio. We played games in the evening and when it was really raining hard.
we used to take the tv, but now don't bother and it's not missed. we do take the dvd player for the kids. we had a cheap 5" tv and the aerial reception was cack. just learnt how to connect the dvd player to an aerial, so i may give that a go for those rainy days
I do take a handheld telly for when its raining, and normally get a great reception from inside the tent
I also take an EHU only because i have to use my phone alot for work related issues, have tried using a wind up charger but you seem to have to wind forever just to get a few minutes talk time, so i decided to use an EHU just so that i can charge my mobile.
After all you couldnt miss an imprtant call could you,
