We have decided to leave the EHU for a little while, and see if we can afford it later in the season. Things are just quite tight at the moment, doing all the essentials on one low income in 7 weeks was probably a bad idea!!! Have bookmarked the site though for future!

Get one from your local builders merchants, much cheaper. From experience anything that says for "caravan" or "boat" use comes anything up to twice the price from leisure dealers....

I got a 4 gang socket one off of Ebay for just £19.99 plus free P&P, A total bargain, i have used it 4 times without a problem, i just dont know what all the fuss is about, besides if these ebay cables where dangerous then the law wouldnt allow people to sell them,

What law would that be then? There is no relevant law. The ebay equipment is not inherently dangerous but is not suitable for use in a damp or outdoor environment. If you choose to use it in that environment then it's your responsibility not the seller's (even if they have led you to believe that it is suitable)

These Ebay sellers seem to being selling these so called "dangerous leads like hot cakes, im sure if they really were dangerous like everybody states on this forum then the dangers would be more widely known, ie: On TV, Newspapaer, Media, Radio etc etc,
How often do you here that somebody has died or got hurt from an EHU bought off of ebay, you dont and im sure the press would love to get there hands on that one,
But they cant because there to me are no problems with the hook ups as long as they are used in the correct manor,
Im very please with my Ebay hook up lead, that i may even purchase another to give to friends that going camping in a trailer tent that dosent have EHU im sure they will love on of these leads and use if for years to come without any problems,
