Maybe you could ask at your local Renault dealer?

I have some Thule roof rails (kit 1036) on my 2003 Scenic - the instructions say that the front of the "front rail" foot should be 350mm from the top of the windscreen and the distance between the front of the "front rail" foot and the front of the "back rail" foot should be 700mm.

If this doesnt help I can get you am image to explain.

Les.

When we had our Scenic, there were special slots to fit the roof bars into, that said we had our fitted when we bought the car from new and I don't remember ever taking them off.

Best bet is, as Benski said, go along to your Renault dealer.
