Just been on the Lidls site and had a look at the new specials due on the 15th June and thought there may be some of interest to fellow campers.

Such as

• Lilos £6.99
• manual air pump £4.99
• Travel Cot £24.99 (there was a thread from someone wishing to take their baby camping, we took my daughter when she was only 3 months using one of these)
• Voltage rectifier ie 240v AC to 13V dc up to 65 Watts £8.99
• 3-way 12v adaptor £2.99.

I intend to purchase the rectifier and 3-way adaptor to use for 2x  12v strip lighting and whale water pump, rectifier will plug straight into EHU and then use 3-way 12v adaptor as an extension lead.

Could also be use for 12v tvs and possibly 12v cool boxes but first check power rating of appliance.

Very good deal on that travel cot. They usually start at the £40 mark.

There's also some small magnetic board games for £1.99 - handy for those rainy nights ...yes I know WHAT RAIN!!!

The link has changed, it did show all the items listed above and now they are showing something completely different.....

Had a quick look at the site and it appears that the current specials tab should really be dated 18th June, which is a Monday,

The items I saw this morning were listed on the 15th June the Thursday before but there is no showing of this on the site.

I think there webmaster has updated a few weeks too early as current specials should really be dated today Thursday 8th June

Hmmmmm......

I too subscribe and get emails from them thats how I noticed the cot etc, but if you use the link again it will take you to "future" specials starting 18th June
