HI

Does anyone know where i can get a disposable barbie stand from?.......i did see one at a shop in Lyndhurst.....really flimsy and cheap looking....and they wanted £6.99 for it!!

I dont mind paying for something that will last.....and maybe fold up too.(this didnt)

some of them come with stands now, tesco ones do i think.Just a crappy bit of metal but it seems to work ok. Is it just to stop whatever is underneath getting burnt?

Mainly to stop the grass being burnt........i could put a couple of bricks in the car i suppose!!

It would be rather nice though, to have a piece of kit to raise it up about 8 to 10 inches!

 

Maybe i should rephrase that...........

Have just been to B&Q this morning and have bought one for £2.98.

This was at the Washington (Tyne & Wear) B&Q Warehouse ( the larger type superstore) but I would imagine that most B&Q's would stock them.

I have been looking for them for a while so it was good to get one at last.

Following advice on here got a couple in B&Q (Cardiff) today

If you're stuck, a well dampened newspaper under the barbie will protect the grass.
