Not too sure if it was totally succesful tho, as i used old fuel (4-5 months), and it stopped working towards the end of the weekend trip, with a smallish amount still left in the tank.
Is that normal? or should it still cook until the tank has drained??
Off to Cornwall on friday, so i hope i can sort it out soon if anyone can help!
it does leave a small amount in the tank before its start to splutter and give up, your fuel should be ok if its kept in a good container e.g sig fuel bottle, as long as it does not produce any smoke/soot then it should be ok, also only filling the tank 3/4 full gets the max output from the coleman, this gives it a good area in the tank to produce vapours to cook with.
Nope, it's a bit like a car - it's run out of fuel! We try to avoid running it right down on the same theory as a car you don't really want to suck any nasty stuff from the bottom of the tank into the system.
