Hi,

Does anyone know if a campsite is likely to charge extra for putting up a beach shelter / tent thing?.  I know they tend to charge extra for gazebos but obviously this isnt as big.

Some sites might look at the shelter as same as a PUP tent.  Is the shelter just during the day or is it staying up overnight.  Day only is unlikley to attract a charge.

I was thinking of using it for a couple of things. A bit of shelter for my little girl and somewhere that we could cook on a night and somewhere to shelter on a night. But after contacting the campsite they informed me it would cost £2.00 extra per night, so i may as well just buy a gazebo as it will give me more room
