Do you do steak on the cobb, cooked alsorts but not tried steak, a friend cooked some sirloin on their cadac for us as you usually cook it fairly quick, on the cobb everything is cooked slow.
Hi Jen .......... yes have done fillet and sirlion ........... done on the grill that comes with it ....... I take mine out a little bloody and leave Colins to cremate
Have done steak on the Cobb. I found it doesn't brown quite like a bbq or grill cook and rather than believing it was done after 8 mins (I like mine rare-medium) I left it on for about 15, the meat was well over done even OH who likes his cremated couldn't eat it, so my advice would be to trust your timings! Enjoy
For me, to cook steak the plate must be tremendously hot to sear the meat.....
No, tried and it was not hot enough... HOPELESS. People have suggested improvements which have not tried yet... I am not prepared to do a slow fry on a steak... does not work. Think it could be used for fryups okay but steak needs a high heat.

Jen, did Sam and Bod not do steak and chops on your cobb at Townsend in April, I seem to remember they did and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
