Going first time camping tomorrow morning too!
Can any of you great camping people help me out & also tell me what sort of place is the best - cheapest to buy gas from, hardware - garage - camping shop?

As the gas bottles are rarely interchangeable, most bottled gas suppliers will give you a new regulator to fit the type of gas bottle they are selling. All you need do is swap it over on the rubber pipe. As for buying the gas, they are pretty much the same price wherever you go and you will need to buy the bottle in the first place, you only pay for the gas the next time.
Good luck.
