hi, we have just had our first camping experience with three young children, all thought it was fantastic apart from the electric coolbox we took with us, i was worried about warm food all weekend and stomach bugs.
we have decided to purchase a 3 way fridge, any suggestions of makes etc
I bought the Waeco Combicool CAB40. It is similar to the one reviewed on this site but is thicker around the edges. It holds 40 litres. I think the cheapest price is £129, average £149. It works very well. It's in the kitchen at the moment, with some wine and cold drinks in it.
have you seen the cool boxes at glynn web they work off electricity and i think they have a 40 litre capacity they were reduced from rrp of £129 to £40 they looked good you can use them like a conventional cool box or tip them on thier side and slot in shelves and use fridge style!
