I would like to know if anyone out there has one of these and can tell us if we are recharging it properly. We just plugged it in. We have lost the instructions. I have emailed Wynnster- but would like to know if anyone has the instructions. We are going camping on Monday so it is quite urgent. Thanks.

We have a Coleman rechargable lantern and we just plug it in but dont switch it on. We leave it charging all day so it is ready for the evening. Why not try this with your Wynnster this weekend before you go away.

We have one of these Tina. Yes, you just plug it in and I think from what I can remember, it has a red and a green light for telling you whether it's charged or not. The light will only work with the battery and not when it is connected to the charger.

Hope this helps

Nick

Funnily enough I've just had a reply from Wynnster on this very subject.

The recharging time is between 6 and 8 hours. When charging the RED light comes on. The lantern can't be operated whilst charging. When its charged up the GREEN light comes on.

If you have the in car charger, the advice is to charge during a journey.

If yours is a model with the amber light, this comes on whilst in use when the battery is low.

The lantern lasts around 6 to 8 hours between charging.

A little late I know, but hope that helps for the future.
