hi thanks im looking at on on e bay at the mo, it says has own electric supply, im considering one f thses i was just stuck about how to blow it up if it needed electric, cos im not bothered about ehu, weve got a yellow pump thingy that goes in the ciggie lighter in the car with lots of diffrent end thingies to attach i think that may be ok
we've also got one we can use with EHU, but if you're not bothered about hvaing anything electrical while camping it's not worth paying out for the hookup as they start at about £50
we picked one up at a boot fair for £7 (not sure if its your version but it is Intex) fixed the minute hole.
the built in pump is excellent quality (i had a peek)and it pumps up fine with our camping gaz quickpump2 (rechargeable jobbie)through the only valve available ,the only drawback is deflation as the valve is oneway but instead of poking a pointy thing in to open the one way dooda i am making a tube to fit the pump so it can be deflated under power (the main pump assembly lets the air out without power but you cannot completely empty it with that pump unless its plugged in).
the built in pump is very fast (both in and out) and it reminds me of a hovercraft as it inflates.
nice thick plastic as well for those more rough grassed pitches.
the great thing is my mrs (disabled) can sit on the edge and get dressed without the rolling around mallarky in single thickness airbeds.
in our version the supplymentary valve is about 6" from the built in pump ,you would be wise to ensure there was one before purchasing.
