LOL ! That's something to remember for the future....I'm the type of person that would have been sat in my tent, with the Cobb lit, having repaired it with superglue, wondering why I've got pink elephants floating around me !!!

I actually shop at the same Lakeland as you (I suspect),  and they were really good to me recently. I have an older cobb, and was after buying a roasting rack. I asked if they sell them seperately, and was told they don't - but the lady I spoke to told me to hang on for a moment. Off she went, only to re-appear a few minutes later, with a roasting rack for me  for FREE ! Apparently someone had been sold a Cobb a few weeks ago, and neither the staff member nor the seller had realised that the roasting rack was part of their 'bundle', so she let me have it !!

Hi Mon ......... do you mean the black outer of the base ........... can't see that being a prob with superglue and heat ... as it doesn't heat up .......
