just bought a new camcorder and the only time i will need more than one battery is when i am filming from the camper van.

i can run it from the charging lead the tech spec of it is

input 240v 50hz/60hz 0.3a

output dc 11v--1a

what watt  12volt-240volt inverter would i need to run it from the lesuire battery

power = voltage times ampage.

so you need 72watts id reckon. a . you mite be able to be get a converter for 12v to 11v for cheaper thou. cheaper. i have a 150 watt inverter to use a ps2 in da car.

if you use a 12v to11v converter use a regulated supply.

ive allways used the 12 volt system in the past but jvc dont list one for this model.

not thought about maplins, but just looked they have a 150 watt for 29.99 so that will fit the bill.
