We have a very good couple of camping shops near us (Fleetwood and Preston which have taken all our money over the last few years ) but a friend at work has been bitten by the camping bug and lives in Wigan.

Anyone from that area know if there is a shop nearby that they can spend all their hard earned cash in?

Bradburn leisure at Orrell can be expensive, Outdoor World at Warrington is Pretty Good.  Its not that far from Wigan, Just off the M6 on the A49.

Outdoor world also say they will price match so maybe thats worth knowing if they scour the net first.

 I would rather go to Outdoor World than Bradburns, think they are way over priced.

Riversway which is the well advertised shop is at Preston which is just 1/2 hour from wigan, I grew up in Coppull ner Dave Barrons, but I would say that Riversway will have many bargins well worth the drive.
