I bought a bag of soft ball games - possible from ASDA, and it had one of these in. Not to sure what its called. The set I bought came in a 'rucksack', and had this in, a soft frizbee, a couple of soft balls and one of those sticky ball games in. It wasn't expensive - about a tenner.
Got a ZIp Zap in Tesco it was only about £3 and has put up with a fair hammering as all the kids on the campsite had a go(little kids, and larger drunken ones!!). Great fun, but watch out for the knuckles!
Thanks all, but that isn't the game we saw! This was a throwing and catching game, using metal handles and a windsock type thing with ribbons attached. Will keep looking and let you know if I have any joy.
------------- I'm invisible and dumb,
no-one will recall me
Welcome to UKCS, Limejelly. You get the prize for digging up the oldest dead thread. It died in 2006, and I don’t recognise any of the names involved in posting onto it, so I don’t expect any of them to reply to you.
But someone on here now might have more information about the game, you never know.
