Some of the in line cigarette type leads have a fuse in?
Do you have another 12v appliance that you can plug in to test that power is actually getting to the socket?

Is your vehicle's 12V socket working properly with a different 12V item, like a phone charger for your mobile phone?
If that is working properly, then the 12V connector on your coolbox could be faulty.
It has a fuse inside and could have blown.
The fuse can be replaced by opening the connector. If it is a moulded one, then it may need to be cut off for a replacement one to be fitted.
If you do not know how to change a 3-pin plug, then I suggest you ask someone who is more knowledgeable to help to be on the safe side.
