be carefull it looks like one of those forgot to mention descriptions..............as it only states batteries are in remote i know it says it comes with charger and is rechargeable but you might find that you have to buy your own rechargeable batteries first i would try to contact the seller first to check

where did you find that? i think you have read it from a very similar lamp as i didnt find that and i looked at about 5 supliers of this model
also no way could it weigh 4 pounds without a battery
ah this clears it up this is makers website and item comes with rechargeable batteries
