THIS IS A VERY OLD RECALL GOES BACK TO FEB LAST YEAR NONE OF US RETAILS HAVE THIS STOCK NOW AS HAVE ALL BEEN SENT BACK
and we are all waiting on a new version
the recall was a silly one as well as they claim if you yank hard on the cable it would come of the light exposing live wires and before you all say thats not silly you really had to yank the cable hard the newer version has to be sealed this is what we have been told
All I can say that Essex Trading standards took it very seriously and came nto my shop twice to check that Sunnflair had followed all the requirements of the recall.
If you have one worth taking it back to the reatialer that you got it from.
just a quick follow up there should be no stock of these in shops since march 2006 as they never rep;aced last year the new version is going to be available very soon but we will be doing the powerparts version as they are made in the uk
