Hello Folks maybe a stupid question, but we've always used Butane gas, so we've got two blue bottles, can i swap these for two Propane bottles being the red bottles reason being first time ever last Christmas the butane froze well it was -5 so i thought it's time to change to propane for this Christmas excursion.
Regards Kevin

Some gas outlets will only let you swap them on a like for like basis but others will happily swap any bottle for another type/size.
You will need a different regulator for using propane.
I use one of each as I usually pull out the butane one for the barby. Not this time of the year though!

Kev
We swapped from 2 Butane 7kg (blue) to 2 Propane 6kg (red) ours were empty and it cost us £13 each. Regulator was from eBay on the link below, £3.99 + PP much cheaper than most caravan parts shops.
