just spotted an Osram 3 LED lights, very small and neat, will stick to underside of cupboards for instance, inside cupboards, etc. Called Osram dot-it. come in various colours, but the black or silver mountings would look good in most vans.
they would save considerable battery power in caravans and motorhomes, and are rather like the small inset halogen lights of a few years ago - about 3" across, and run on AA batteries I think. They also come on by simply touching like the old touch lamps. However they should last a fair time on battery power, and you could use several.....they require no electric fitting!!!!!!!!!!!!.........yippee!
they were £4.99 in Focus...............can anyone find them cheaper (they are much more expensive on ebay)

My B & Q one also will not stick. Tried the double sided adhesive supplied and it was useless. I keep the thing in the drawer now for 'emergencies'
