Mains 38w fluorescent tube and fitting with a push button switch.
Clips to the roof and lights our LV6 very well. Cost about £12 two or three years ago, can't remember from where though.------------- Breezy

Wilkos sell a waterproof sealed plastic bulkhead light for £5.00 that, along with an energy saving bulb, makes a great tent light. Simply screw a self tapping hook into the rear / end and it hangs nicely in the tent. I wired ours with an inline switch that sits outside the inner tent so it can be turned on easily for night time loo visits...!!!

I got my rechargeable one from Argos for 14.99 which gas two flourescent tubes and an area spotlight which is handy and lights up my frame tent i also use smaller rechargable lanterns in bedroom area rather than battery powered ones which don't last long.

Don`t forget to use a proper RCD type hook-up kit for the tent, 240V electric and dampness don`t mix
