How difficult would this be? i understand that the gas fitting bit has to be done by a certified person (corgi registered) but we know a man who can and is................the caravan has a spare vented cupboard under the grill and would be the most logical place to put it......would the lining of the cupbpard have to be insulated against the heat?
Actually, the regulations state that the equipment only needs to be fitted by a qualified corgi engineer IF the vehicle is to be used for hire purposes.
There are other regs in place however which means that it is best simply to get someone in who is Corgi registered otherwise the other rules would probably be broken by accident.
The gas oven by design should be sufficiently insulated to prevent excessive heat, but will come with fitting instructions detailing any ventilation required which will give you a good pointer as to where it will go.
I've got a flavel vanessa gas oven. It is connected to the gas bottle by lpg 8mm hose and a regulator, secured with clips. Fitting it might be different if you have other gas appliances running from the same fuel source though?
i've got one to sell if anyone is interested - its made by Radford, got it to replace mine but can't be bothered as will probably sell van at the end of this season.
