I'm looking for a small porta potti for occasional weekend use.  No. 1's only...

Space in the car is tight so size matters.  The Campingaz Porta Potti looks as good as anything for 35 quid.

But my question - how many "flushes" or uses - do you get from a 12l tank?

The question really is how many flushes before you have to empty the bottom tank as in;

BTV = VpF + BV

where BTV = Bottom Tank Volume, VpF = Volume per Flush and BV = Bladder Volume. The Volume per Flush should be a set volume (every time you press it a set volume of liquid is flushed) but the Bladder Volume (ie what you add to the tank with your No 1's) is variable and will depend on the amount of chardonnay, merlot or lager, lager, lager you need to expel.

Well, thanks for the science bit...

I'm comfortable that for the wife and my two little girls, it would keep us going through a long weekend for those late night "moments" - which is exactly what we need.
