anyone bought the porch awning from argos. any thoughts?

I got one of THESE I cannot recomend it highly enough for a porch awning.

I di manage to get mine a bit cheaper at a local dealer though

We got one from Barrons for £49.99 last summer.  It's brilliant - dead easy to erect and big enough for a table and a couple of chairs.

They also had them in our local dealers cheaper than Argos.

Its very much the same as the popular Sunncamp Scenic (& Scenic Plus).  Just be aware that the horizontal pole near the top fits into a pocket at each end and is right up against the side of your caravan.

We bought a couple of rubber suction awning pole pads (available in most camping shops) and cut them slightly to fit - protecting our van from potential dents.

We've just changed from our Scenic to a different porch awning and this time have avoided any with poles that are dangerously close to the van.

Ours is the Sunncamp. We looked at the Scenic Plus but it would have half covered our side window!
