hi yo all campers , ive been caravaning 4 a few years now and posted many topics on ball games around caravans , but now I need advice on leaving my caravan and awning for the season any wot 2 does and wot not 2  will be appreciated

I think a storm strap for the awning is a must do if you are going to leave it up unattended.

We will be off next week to set up our van for the season. Don't normally put the awning up until the worst of the weathers over and done with, seen too many awnings buckling in the high winds over the years.

We saw an awning buckled under a thick layer of snow on a campsite in France ( Burgundy). Not something I had ever considered as a hazard.
