Planning a two-week camper trip along the Turkish Turquoise Coast next spring, flying into Dalaman and heading straight to Kas. Two questions for those who have done it:
1) Any campsites right near Kas town that welcome small campervans? We would like sea access and a bit of shade for the van.
2) Is it realistic to do sections of the Lykian Way on foot and sleep at campsites in between, or is wild camping the only option around there?
For the van part of the trip we are looking at rentals like https://kas-rent-a-car.com/ since we prefer a small campervan over a big motorhome. Any other practical tips about ferries to Meis or market days in Kas would be great.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Welcome to UKCS.
I’m sure you’ll be checking out other websites too: although a few people on here might have gone to Turkey, it’s most likely they’ll have driven there in their own vehicle. It’ll be a handful at most that have hired over there.
I appreciate you’re new on here, do find the Site Search… but there may not be many sites with enough reviews to be particularly helpful. You might be as well looking at the reviews on google maps.
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
