We use Virgin on sim only 25gb a month and unlimited calls £8,a month.
it is soon transferring to O2 same price but data doubled. No roaming charges.
We have just come back from 6 weeks and didn't use that much data. Mainly e mails bit of surfing. We use WhatsApp as well which don't use your data.
Most sites have WiFi of varying quality!

We are with Virgin as well. 30gb, free calls and texts for £10. 25gb limit while roaming. Changing over to O2 in August automatically. Data increasing to 100gb free calls and texts for £9.99. Data cap remains the same.

Lebara works for me. Sim only. No EU roaming charges & a 30gb limit on data while eu roaming. Best deals are on Uswitch website not on providers websites usually. I pay £6.95pm for 15 gb. Uswitch deal you on pay £2.78pm got first 3 months.
I'm with EE and currently in France and have paid £15 for a months roaming pass which I can then use all of my allowances. If I didn't pay that, it would be £2.26 per day.

I upgraded my plan to unlimited data with inclusive EU roaming when I upgraded my handset last year, mainly for work purposes as I need to be continuously contactable while I am out and about.

We are still in a BT mobile contract they have a 'roam like home' policy so no extra charges when in Europe.
But they're changing the contracts to EE when the contract expires. So will have to search for a new provider.

No data roaming charges only guaranteed for this year though.
Note that with o2 there is a limit of 25gb after that you'll get charged. I know 25gb sounds a lot, but it isn't if you're streaming or sharing your connection with the rest of the family via hotspot.

No, Tesco are looking to introduce roaming charges after this year, O2 are not. My OH has just taken out a new contract with O2, up to 25Gb per month data allowance when in the EU at no extra cost.
