I have inherited a green 5KG propane gas bottle with my boat, which appears to be a Primagaz bottle, which I believe is French. It's full and I'd like to use it. Posted in abroad section, as I believe you guys are most likely to have come across these before.
However it has a male screw connector like a traditional Calor butane regulator, and I cannot seem to track down a propane version with this connection - image of bottle connection (and butane regulator)
The propane ones I find are all like this.
Am I missing something obvious? Can anyone point me in the right direction please to find a suitable regulator ?
Many thanks!
Ian

Try dnautogasparts.co.uk, go to the pressure regulator section, propane types, and I think the one you need is halfway down the page on the right hand side. They are sometimes available on eBay as well.

Sorry it's not a link but this tablet is not the easiest to use for delicate jobs.
Available from other sources, but pretty rare, not a common UK usage as that cylinder thread is more commonly a Calor Butane coupling on the now defunct 4.5Kg cylinder over here.

You're welcome Ian. If you use their eBay shop the prices are often a few pence higher than the web price but the eBay price usually includes carriage so works out quite a lot cheaper.
