MISSING PERSON
Please share to as many Motorhome groups.
4th May 2023.
My Mum is travelling alone through Portugal and Spain in her Motorhome, she has not been in touch for four days and we are unable to make contact with her. It has been reported to the police and the British consulate and she is now on the European Interpol missing list.
She last posted on FB Saturday evening on the 1st May and we believe the beach photos taken were somewhere near, Playa De Almayate, Bajamir. Near Malaga.
She is driving an Elddis Autoquest 2012.
Reg PO62CZE, we are unsure of the direction She may be travelling but claimed she was driving 2/3hrs a day.
Her name is Jasmine, 75 years old, 5ft 7inch long dark brown hair.
If anyone is currently in the south of Spain around Malaga or the southern coast of Spain could you please check the sites or aires you are in for the vehicle.

i wonder if anyone has tried to find her using her phone to locate her? as in find my phone type apps?
when you read things like this it does make me feel more tempted to buy a few air tag type trackers, one of them being for my mother in law who is forever going off and making full use of her bus pass! thing is she forgets to tell any of us and she has no geographical knowledge whatsoever! thus relying on the honesty of people on the bus or the driver to get her to places she wants and then back home again
This has been on FB for the past couple of days and is a genuine worry, with the police and British officials notified. If you are in Spain or Portugal, please keep a look out.

its a very odd thing this one, that reg is down to a peugot boxer, which in the last 6 years has done 19 miles! the mot is due 30th june 2023 giving her 8 weeks left to get back to the uk, surely someone about to drive off on holiday like this would have got the mot done before she left the uk?

Agreed, it does seem very odd, so I've emailed the person concerned in the original post to clarify one or two of the details.

I had this from the missing lady's son just a couple of hours ago:
