It's always been difficult to watch BBC in Europe, but now people who have been able to watch it through a VPN and a humax (or similar) box are reporting that they can no longer get BBC Channels. There are many posts on French Home Owners Groups asking 'What's going on with BBC channels...?'
Possibly the change over to HD, but I don't know the answer for ordinary TV. We have just changed to Sky Q ( for UK) but should work in northern France, Belgium and Holland with a satellite system which we have.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Not without a VPN. I use Cyberghost - not free but it has different variants - one dedicated to BBC player, one for ITV, and others for Amazon Prime, Netflix if you use them. Snag is the site wifi. So far we have had stayed on three sites; one worked first time every time (free fibre site wide) one was paid wi-fi and worked at first then reached what was a fair usage limit. Currently the site we ar on has decent wifi BUT as soon as I connect VPN the wi fi stops, so I have used my phone data with VPN on the computer.
